Dark in the Alone contains work reflecting my own personal struggles as well as work concerned with society roles and expectations. It draws parallels between the beautiful and the ugly, creating truly distinct and uncomfortable works of art. Much of my work is inspired by dreams, experiences (positive and negative) and those I’m surrounded by. My work serves as a form of communication, expressing values and opinions, some of which I’m yet to be aware of.
